St Patrick School Closings

After Friday’s school closings many parents will be wondering about whether they should send their children to school tomorrow morning. Here is the school closing news, as of 23:00 on Sunday night.

Commission Scolaire de Montréal
There was an emergency evacuation of one CSDM school on Friday and as a consequence all facilities will be closed Monday, 17 March 2008
News as to when school will resume should be available Monday after 14:30

Commission Scolaire de la Rivière-du-Nord
Le Centre Performance Plus et la Polyvalente Lavigne in St-Jerome will be closed 17 March 2008
All other facilities and schools in the board are open

Other notes:
All four campuses of the Socrates Schools are closed 17 March 2008

Day classes at St. Pius the 10th Culinary School and Adult Centre in Ahuntsic are cancelled 17 March, however night classes will still run as normal and the attached building Paul the Sixth High School is open all day, having been deemed safe

Classes resume or continue as normal in the Commission Scolaire des Affluents, English Montreal School Board (with 1 exception noted above,) Lester B Pearson School Board, Commission Scolaire Marguerite-Bourgeoys, Commission Scolaire de la Pointe-de-l’Ile, Collège Jean de Brébeuf
